This is perhaps the most common issue we have to deal several times a day. Many members, free and/or paid, send us a message asking for an explanation why their reporting tools such as www.instantposition.com or www.linkpopularity.com or even Google with the link: function reports less links than the number that IndexGuy claims to offer.
This may appear to be true in some cases. In other words its possible to have a lot of reporting tools saying that you don't get all the links that IndexGuy says that you will get as soon as you join.
First of all, allow me to say that the links are there. You can verify this by checking them one by one! We do not lie. Now, there are many reasons these third-party tools may report as your links are less than they are in reality.
1. Google (or other search engines) hasn't indexed the new links yet.
2. Your website is banned from Google or other search engines for some reason. No matter what you do, your links will not get indexed!
3. Your website suffers from the sandbox effect.
4. or some other reason, dependant on the last Google (or other search engine) algorithm update that is not known yet.
But also you need to have this in mind. In order to get your website in top results in search engines or to be able to get most of your backlinks appeared in the Google backlinks report, you need to apply many SEO factors. One of these factors is link building, which it is believed that it is the most important. IndexGuy comes here. We help you satisfy this single SEO factor, nothing more! So, in order to expect better results notice that you have to check all (or at least a lot) of the SEO factors! Don't expect IndexGuy to do miracles - we just cover the most important factor, not all of them!
